أجرى السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي اتصالاً هاتفياً اليوم برئيس الحكومة اللبناني نجيب ميقاتي.
وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية السفير د. أحمد فهمي أن الاتصال تناول العدوان الإسرائيلي على لبنان، حيث أكد السيد الرئيس دعم مصر الكامل للبنان، ووقوفها بجانبه في هذه الظروف الدقيقة، ورفضها المساس بأمنه أو استقراره أو سيادته ووحدة أراضيه، مشدداً على ضرورة الوقف الفوري والشامل والدائم لإطلاق النار بكل من لبنان وغزة، ومنوهاً في هذا الصدد إلى أن عدم اضطلاع المجتمع الدولي بمسئولياته لوقف الممارسات العدوانية تجاه الأراضي الفلسطينية ولبنان، يهدد بانزلاق المنطقة لحالة خطيرة من التصعيد، بما يضع الاستقرار والسلم الإقليميين والدوليين على المحك.
وأضاف المتحدث الرسمي أن السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي وجه بإرسال مساعدات طبية وإغاثية طارئة للبنان بشكل فوري، تضامناً مع شعبه الشقيق، ومؤكداً استمرار دعم مصر للبنان على جميع الأصعدة. ومن جانبه؛ ثمن رئيس الوزراء اللبناني الموقف المصري الداعم لبلاده وللدولة اللبنانية، مستعرضاً نتائج الاتصالات التي تجريها الحكومة اللبنانية لاحتواء الموقف، ومشيداً في ذلك السياق بالدور الذي تقوم به مصر لاستعادة الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi spoke by phone with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
The Spokesman for the Presidency said the call addressed the Israeli aggression on Lebanon. The President affirmed Egypt’s full support for Lebanon and confirmed standing by its side during these critical circumstances, and rejecting attempts to jeopardize its security, stability, sovereignty, or territorial integrity, stressing the need for an immediate, comprehensive, and permanent ceasefire in both Lebanon and Gaza. The President noted in this regard that the international community not assuming its responsibilities to stop the aggressive practices towards the Palestinian territories and Lebanon threatens to slide the region into a dangerous state of escalation, which puts regional and international stability and peace at stake.
The Spokesman added that President El-Sisi gave directives for the immediate dispatch of emergency medical and relief aid to Lebanon, in solidarity with its people, and affirmed Egypt’s continued support for Lebanon at all levels.
The Lebanese prime minister expressed appreciation for Egypt’s position in support of his country and the Lebanese State, reviewing the outcome of contacts made by the Lebanese government to contain the situation, and praising in this context the role played by Egypt to restore security and stability in the region.
