التقى الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي مع الرئيس “شي جين بينج”، رئيس جمهورية الصين الشعبية، وذلك على هامش قمة تجمع البريكس المنعقدة بمدينة قازان بجمهورية روسيا الاتحادية.

وصرح المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن الرئيسين استعرضا مجمل العلاقات الثنائية وسبل تطويرها في مختلف المجالات، وكذا تعزيز التنسيق بين البلدين في الأطر متعددة الأطراف، لاسيما تجمع بريكس، مثمنين التطور الملحوظ والمحطات الإيجابية التي تشهدها علاقات البلدين منذ تدشين علاقات الشراكة الإستراتيجية الشاملة بينهما في عام 2014، ومؤكدين حرصهما على البناء على الزخم الناتج عن زيارة الدولة التي قام بها السيد الرئيس للصين في مايو 2024.

كما أعرب الرئيس في هذا الصدد عن تقديره لمشاركة الصين في العديد من المشروعات الاقتصادية الكبرى في مصر، لاسيما في مجالات البنية التحتية والنقل والسكك الحديدية، وتطلع مصر لمواصلة التعاون المثمر مع الصين في التصنيع ونقل التكنولوجيا لمصر.

وأضاف المتحدث الرسمي أن الرئيسين بحثا التطورات الإقليمية والدولية، وعلى رأسها الأوضاع في الشرق الأوسط، حيث أكدا أهمية العمل الفوري على خفض التصعيد ومنع توسع الصراع تفادياً لنشوب حرب إقليمية من شأنها أن تلقي بآثارها السلبية على جميع الأطراف، كما طالب الزعيمان بضرورة التوصل لحل دائم وشامل للقضية الفلسطينية عبر إطلاق مسار سياسي يفضي إلى إقامة الدولة الفلسطينية وفقاً لقرارات الشرعية الدولية، بوصفه الحل الأمثل لضمان الأمن المستدام بالمنطقة.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, on the sidelines of the BRICS summit held in Kazan, Russian Federation.

Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Ahmed Fahmy, said the two presidents reviewed the overall bilateral relations and ways to enhance them across various fields, as well as means to strengthen coordination between the two countries within multilateral frameworks, particularly the BRICS.

The two leaders commended the noticeable progress and positive milestones in the relations between the two countries since the establishment of their comprehensive strategic partnership in 2014, reaffirming their commitment to building on the momentum generated by President El-Sisi’s state visit to China in May 2024.

President El-Sisi expressed his appreciation for China’s participation in many major economic projects in Egypt, particularly in infrastructure, transportation, and railways, and expressed Egypt’s keenness to continue fruitful cooperation with China in manufacturing and technology transfer.

The two presidents reviewed regional and international developments, particularly the situation in the Middle East, emphasizing the importance of immediate action to de-escalate tension and prevent the expansion of conflict to avoid a regional war that could have negative repercussions for all parties involved. Both leaders called for a permanent and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue through the launch of a political process that leads to the establishment of a Palestinian state in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions, viewing this as the optimal solution to ensure sustainable security in the region.
